680KW Industrial air duct heater
Air Duct Heater Introduction
Electric duct heaters consist of heating elements installed within a frame or duct housing.
Individual heating elements can be replaced directly through the heater housing, so there is no need to remove the entire heater unit from the ductwork.
As highly adaptable heating solutions, these duct heaters are simple to install for processes requiring variable temperatures of flowing air.
They can also be fitted with integrated temperature control systems to meet your process requirements.
Technical Features
The electric heater frame adopts GB Q235B carbon steel and Q235 AI. The outer enclosure uses 2 mm galvanized steel plate, assembled by welding and riveting. Ceramic fiber insulation (200–300 mm thick) is filled between the inner chamber and outer housing to reduce heat loss. Custom RAL top coating is available.
The inner chamber is fabricated from high-quality SS310S with reliable sealing, with a plate thickness of 3 mm.
Heating Zone Heating banks consist of SS310S electric heating tubes. Each tube uses SS310S as the outer sheath. Nickel-chromium alloy resistance wire is evenly arranged along the tube’s central axis. The gaps are densely packed with magnesium oxide sand, offering excellent insulation and thermal conductivity.
Three heating banks are installed on the furnace body; each bank contains three heating units. Power rating per bank: 76 kW. Total installed power: 684 kW.
Design temperature: 450℃ Operating temperature: 400℃ Temperature is regulated via thermocouples and PID controller, adjustable from 0–400℃.
