China Factory Suppliers Horizontal Vertical Vacuum Calciner for Chemical Fiber Components and Filter Elements Cleaning

The vacuum calciner is a state-of-the-art cleaning solution provided by top China suppliers and manufacturers. This advanced equipment is specifically designed for effectively cleaning chemical fiber components and filter elements. It excels at cleaning both standard and shaped spinnerets used for polyester, nylon, and polypropylene fibers, as well as fine and ultrafine denier spinneret assembly housings, Unlike traditional methods such as calcination, fluidized bed cleaning, TEG alcoholysis cleaning, and salt bath cleaning, the vacuum calciner addresses key issues associated with open flames, high temperatures, and indoor pollution in the cleaning chamber. Operating within a sealed chamber, this vacuum cleaning system creates a controlled environment with limited fresh air supply, enabling the chemical fiber polymers to undergo cracking and coking under low oxygen levels, The temperature within the chamber is consistently maintained within the specified process range, ensuring that cleaned components exhibit pristine surfaces and smooth spinneret holes. Additionally, the pressure applied during the vacuum cleaning process is significantly lower than that used in TEG alcoholysis methods, resulting in filter elements that enjoy an extended service life, By maintaining a low oxygen content, the vacuum calciner effectively safeguards the metallographic structure of the workpieces, preserving their original metallic luster. With the flexibility to choose different cleaning procedures tailored to specific process requirements, this equipment stands out as a premier solution from reliable suppliers in China, meeting the needs of diverse industries while ensuring top performance and quality

    Vacuum Calciner Working Principles

The vacuum calcining furnace utilizes the characteristics of chemical fiber polymers that can melt at around 300℃, crack and coke when isolated from air above 300℃, and produce a variety of cracking products. Above 400℃, in the presence of a small amount of oxygen and a certain vacuum condition, they can be completely oxidized.

    1

    Melting Phase

The workpiece is first heated to around 300℃. The large amount of polymer on the workpiece surface melts and flows into the waste collection tank at the bottom, leaving only a small amount of polymer and ash in the micropores.

    2

    Oxidation Phase

The furnace temperature is raised to 400-500℃. The vacuum pump is turned on and a small amount of air is introduced to fully oxidize the remaining polymer, producing carbon dioxide and water.

    3

    Scrubbing Phase

The ash and water vapor floating in the furnace are sprayed and washed by the vacuum pump through a water spray scrubber, then safely pumped out of the furnace and carried away by water.

    Environmental Impact

The entire working process does not emit any polluting gas, and the smoke and ash are discharged outdoors. Even if discharged outdoors, only a small amount of carbon dioxide is discharged, and the ash carried away by the water is also very small.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q: At what temperature does the polymer melt in the vacuum calciner?

The chemical fiber polymers melt at around 300℃ and will crack and coke when isolated from air above this temperature.

Q: Where does the melted polymer go during the initial heating phase?

A large amount of the polymer on the workpiece surface melts and flows directly into the waste collection tank located at the bottom of the furnace.

Q: How is the remaining polymer in the micropores completely oxidized?

The furnace temperature is raised to 400-500℃, and with the vacuum pump turned on, a small amount of air is introduced to fully oxidize the remaining polymer into carbon dioxide and water.

Q: How are the ash and water vapor cleaned and discharged from the furnace?

The floating ash and water vapor are sprayed and washed by the vacuum pump through a water spray scrubber, then pumped out of the furnace and carried away by water.

Q: Is the vacuum calcining process environmentally friendly?

Yes. The entire working process does not emit any polluting gas. The smoke and ash are discharged outdoors, resulting in only a small amount of carbon dioxide discharge, and the ash carried away by the water is extremely minimal.
