Horizontal Vertical Cabinet Well Type Vacuum Calciner

The vacuum calciner is the latest equipment for cleaning chemical fiber components and filter elements. It is suitable for cleaning standard and shaped spinnerets for polyester, nylon, and polypropylene fibers, as well as fine and ultrafine denier spinneret assembly housings. It is also suitable for cleaning filter elements, making it a more advanced device than calcination, fluidized bed cleaning, TEG alcoholysis cleaning, and salt bath cleaning methods. It overcomes the drawbacks of open flames, excessive temperatures, and indoor pollution in the cleaning chamber. The vacuum calciner utilizes a sealed chamber, creating a vacuum with limited fresh air supply, allowing the chemical fiber polymers to crack and coke under low oxygen content. The chamber temperature is consistently controlled within the set process range. Cleaned components maintain a clean surface and smooth spinneret holes. The pressure applied to filter elements during vacuum cleaning is significantly lower than that used by TEG alcoholysis cleaning methods. Cleaned filter elements have a long service life. The low oxygen content in the vacuum chamber effectively prevents damage and oxidation to the workpiece's metallographic structure, preserving its original metallic luster. Users can select different cleaning procedures based on their process requirements.

    Vacuum Calciner Working Principles

The vacuum calcining furnace utilizes the characteristics of chemical fiber polymers that can melt at around 300℃, crack and coke when isolated from air above 300℃, and produce a variety of cracking products. Above 400℃, in the presence of a small amount of oxygen and a certain vacuum condition, they can be completely oxidized. Taking advantage of this characteristic, the workpiece is first heated to around 300℃, so that the large amount of polymer on the workpiece surface melts and flows into the waste collection tank at the bottom, leaving only a small amount of polymer and ash in the micropores on the workpiece surface. At this time, the furnace temperature is raised to 400-500℃ (the temperature can be set according to process requirements), and the vacuum pump is turned on and a small amount of air is introduced to fully oxidize the remaining polymer to produce carbon dioxide and water. The ash and water vapor floating in the furnace are sprayed and washed by the vacuum pump through a water spray scrubber and then pumped out of the furnace and carried away by water. The entire working process does not emit any polluting gas, and the smoke and ash are discharged outdoors. Even if discharged outdoors, only a small amount of carbon dioxide is discharged, and the ash carried away by the water is also very small.

    Vacuum Calciner Features

Our vacuum furnaces are available in a wide range of models and specifications, featuring advanced production processes and leading technical performance. Our Western vacuum calcining furnaces utilize stainless steel electric heating tubes for internal heating. Flexible graphite packing is used for sealing rings, eliminating the need for water cooling. These furnaces lead the industry in all technical performance indicators. (Special specifications can be designed and manufactured upon request.)

The use of stainless steel electric heating tubes for internal heating offers high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, rapid heating rates, excellent temperature uniformity within the furnace, and easy heater inspection and maintenance.
