Pressure Rated Electric Flange Immersion Heater
Flange Heater Feature
High surface power, heating the air at 2 to 4 times the surface load.
Highly compact and compact. Due to its short, dense design, it offers excellent stability and requires no brackets for installation.
Combined models typically use argon arc welding to connect the heating tubes to flanges. Alternatively, a fastener assembly can be used: each heating tube is welded with a fastener. The flange cover is then secured with a nut. The tubes and fasteners are welded using argon arc welding, ensuring leak-proof sealing. Fasteners are sealed using advanced technology. Individual tube replacement is extremely convenient, significantly reducing future maintenance costs.
Selection of high-quality imported and domestic materials. Scientific production processes and strict quality management guarantee the superior electrical performance of the heating tubes.
Working Principles
Flange-type electric heaters (also known as plug-in electric heaters) utilize U-shaped tubular heating elements. These elements are assembled on flange covers according to power configuration requirements, based on design specifications for heating different media. Inserted into the material to be heated, the element generates significant heat, transferring it to the heated medium, raising its temperature to meet the desired process requirements. When the medium temperature reaches the setpoint, the control system, based on the temperature sensor signal and PID calculations, adjusts the heater's output power to achieve temperature control across the resistive load of the heating element, ensuring a uniform medium temperature to the desired level. If the element overheats or the liquid level is low, an interlocking protection device immediately shuts off the heating power to prevent burnout and extend its service life.
Application
Flange type electric heaters are mainly used for heat preservation and heating of materials in various storage tanks, containers and oil tanks in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food and machinery. The connection method can be flange type or threaded end face sealing.
