Industrial Powder Continous Drying Tunnel Furnace Kiln Oven

The powder product drying tunnel furnace/Mesh Belt Continuous Powder Drying Tunnel Oven is a continuous equipment used for drying and dehydrating powdered materials. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, lithium battery and other industries.

    Working Principle

Microwave Heating Principle: Microwave drying tunnel ovens use microwaves to cause polar molecules (such as water molecules) in powders to vibrate and rotate at high frequencies. This intermolecular friction generates heat, achieving drying. Microwaves penetrate the powder, heating both the inside and outside simultaneously, resulting in rapid heating, uniform drying, and low energy consumption.

Heat Conduction Principle: For example, in air-heated tunnel belt ovens, heat is conducted through thermal oil. The high-temperature oil passes through built-in heat sinks to raise the air temperature within the tunnel, thereby heating the powder and achieving drying and dehydration.

Radiation Heating Principle: Infrared drying tunnel ovens utilize infrared radiation for heating. Medium- and short-wave infrared radiation (such as the 1.5-2.5 micron wavelength range of high-infrared tunnel ovens) has high energy output, is well absorbed by the powder, and heats the powder quickly.

    Structural Components

Heating System: Includes a microwave generator, infrared heating tubes, and thermal oil radiator to provide heat for drying.

Conveyor System: Typically uses a conveyor belt, such as a Teflon high-temperature mesh belt or a stainless steel mesh belt, to continuously transport the powder through the drying chamber.

Control System: Precisely controls the heating temperature and conveying speed, such as a PID microcomputer with self-tuning temperature to ensure a stable drying process.

Chamber Structure: Consists of an outer shell and an inner chamber. The outer shell is generally made of cold-rolled steel or stainless steel, while the inner chamber is often made of stainless steel to maintain cleanliness and corrosion resistance. An insulation layer is placed in the middle to reduce heat loss.

    Features

Continuous Production: Enables continuous powder feeding and discharging, resulting in high production efficiency and suitability for large-scale production.

    - Excellent Drying: Microwave drying, for example, ensures uniform heating of the powder, preventing surface overheating and internal drier conditions, ensuring consistent product quality.

    - Easy Operation: Temperature, air flow, and speed can be adjusted manually or automatically, with preset parameters. Some systems also offer remote monitoring.

    - High Safety: Equipped with grounding protection, thermal insulation, guardrails, and over-temperature protection, operators and equipment are guaranteed safe.

    Application

Chemical Industry: Suitable for drying chemical powders such as catalysts, pigments, and additives.

Pharmaceutical Industry: Suitable for drying and dehydrating APIs and powders, meeting GMP requirements.

Lithium Battery Industry: Suitable for drying easily oxidizable metal powders such as graphite powder and lithium titanate powder. Some equipment can be filled with nitrogen to prevent oxidation.
